Central Commons Ministry Residency
The Central Commons Ministry Residency is a 2-year paid discipleship program to help emerging leaders develop the theological and spiritual framework to engage in ministry in the twenty-first century. Ministry Residents engage in practical work assignments and relational ministry, as well as theological reading, reflection, spiritual practices, and ministry/program design and implementation.

Our Framework
The Central Commons Ministry Residency is built on a Business-as-Mission model, where Ministry Residents engage in hands-on hospitality work through our cafe and events to foster community, build meaningful relationships, and share the gospel with our neighbors and friends.
To guide us in our work with the community, we use the Thriving Cities Human Ecology Framework. This biblically grounded, multidimensional framework helps us understand and pursue the holistic flourishing of our community across six key arenas of human life: The Good, The True, The Beautiful, The Just, The Prosperous, and The Sustainable. By integrating this framework into the residency, we equip participants to listen to our neighbors needs and see their gifts so that we can actively contribute to the shalom of the city.
